In the year of our Lord 2019 I received a parcel containing three cassette tapes identical to those I had purchased months earlier from an eBay account in Jerusalem. Upon playing the tapes on my 4-track I recognised my own voice, but had no memory of writing or recording the material. An eerie feeling of deja-vu descended and accompanied me for months as I tried to make sense of the parcel and it's meaning. Was I suffering from amnesia, or just the victim of someone's practical joke? Could this really be a message from my future self, somehow sent back in time as a dire warning of a machine-made holocaust? Even now as I write this, visions of a robotic hell-scape fill my mind. My one hope is that by sharing these recordings we might take heed and arm ourselves against the technological apocalypse...
